From the Eppenstein car park, the ascent to the ruins is either via the signposted path via Falmoar or directly by the shorter, also signposted path through the forest. The ruins of Eppenstein Castle are in a state worth seeing, thanks to the commitment and time that the castle association constantly puts into maintenance. The ruins offer an incomparable view over the Mur valley.

From Weißkirchen, it is not long before you reach the Maxlan Chapel. From there you have a beautiful view of the village with its characteristic church tower. At the Maxlankapelle, which stands in the middle of the forest, weather fairs are held regularly. The route then continues via Schoberegg and Riedler to Eberdorf. And back again to Weißkirchen.
